We strive to make the process as educational, quick, and as easy as possible, from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect:

Your Scheduled Surgery

Please arrive 30 – 60 minutes before your scheduled appointment in order to complete paperwork. For security, no online forms are available.

Depending on your referral, your surgery will include meeting with all or part of your surgical team. This will include nurses who will be in the operating room and/or managing your aftercare as well as your anesthesiologist and surgeon.

Your medical team will provide you with a written plan of what was discussed and next steps.

The Big Day

You’ll be well prepared for surgery day with details of what to wear, general rules, what to expect, and what will happen in the critical hours immediately following surgery. Although these details will be provided to you well before your surgery, here are a few tasks you can take care of as you prepare for surgery:

• Make sure you have a trusted friend or family member to drive you to and from your surgery.
• Get any prescribed medications in advance when possible. If over the counter pain medications are allowed, make sure you have your doctor-approved medications available.
• It is important to follow the post-surgical care provided to you. This will reduce the risk of any complications.
